In preparation for the Voters’ Meeting on Sunday, May 19, ILC will hold a 24-hour prayer vigil as we continue to contemplate the prayerful question – “Led by the Holy Spirit, how can Island Lutheran best position itself to be used by our Lord to transform as many lives as possible for Christ in the next 3-5 years?”
The entire family is invited to pray regardless of whether you were able to sign up for the Prayer Vigil. We are including the Prayer Vigil Tool so everyone can take time in prayer before our Voters’ Meeting on Sunday, May 19.
Fridays in May
Fun Fridays!
On Friday, May 3, we started a new ministry, providing a Bible Lesson, crafts, snacks, and song time for local kids. On May 3, we had a great time talking about how God created everything, and played Nature Bingo! On May 10, we had fun talking about how God called Jonah to tell people about Him and how God knows everything! We made an exciting game to take home to remember that Jonah was swallowed by a big fish.
We are excited to continue sharing the joy of salvation through Jesus Christ!
