ILC Family Connection Week 5 Group’s Prayer List
Ausma Zeidlickis reminds us of Romans 12:12-13 ”Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord's people who are in need. Practice hospitality."
Pray for all our church family, Pastors Jeff and PZ and their families and all first responders.
We asked our group to look for BLESSINGS amid the chaos of these times:
*A neighbor of a preschool family used their $1200 tax incentive check to buy and distribute $100 gift cards to families in need -- including one of our ILC Preschool families.
* Seeing our families more often-- even if by technology- Facetime or Zoom.
* Adult children really loving, protecting and caring for their older parents
*The blessing of still meeting and seeing each other as a Bible Study Group by Zoom
*To have a church family that cares about us and a Small Group that we can connect with especially in these times.
* Learning new things about technology
Specific Prayer Requests:
Rob Lenz; please pray for my daughter-in-law Carol’s bother, Bill, who had a stroke last week and now is in intensive care. He is seriously ill and may not recover.
For the Dorth family as they continue to enjoy time together in Wisconsin and
congratulations on the contract on their Wisconsin home – safe travels for Jeff and Samuel as they return to HHI later this week.
Need continued prayers for Tems (grandson of Mary Moore’s friend) for healing and peace for family.
For Barbara Lunick as she and Don transition into Barbara’s retirement as ILC Organist, Music Director, and Choir Director effective the end of April. We have been blessed by her contributions to ILC’s ministry.
For Steve White- who fell and has some injuries. Praise God that nothing is broken! At home recovering but in lots of pain.
For the family of Ann Haines – Ann received the Lord’s Supper earlier this week. It was as if she knew she would be seeing the Lord face to face soon. The Good Shepherd carried Ann home to join Him, the Father, Spirit, and all the saints.
For Linda Jording’s brother Jim - praise that his health is improving. Also, for family, friends and neighbors.
Praise that Lonnie & Fred Goulet and their adult children are all managing well during the stay-at-home restrictions.
Praise from Dolores Cook that her 3 children all live in this area. They are taking good care of her and visit with her often either from a distance or by Facetime. She really misses going to church.
Prayers for Paul Dittmar’s brother Fred, stuck in a rehab facility in New York. His wife Joan is distraught because she can't visit him and she also can't take him home because she would not be able to care for him. Very stressful dilemma.
Ausma & Jack Zeidlickis are doing well. Jack has been very protective of Ausma and he does all the shopping. She has really learned more about technology by these Zoom calls.
For Mary Grebe who is awaiting result from a bowel biopsy this week. Prayers also for Mary's mother Lawanna who is having back pain. Mary reports things are getting worse at her home health job. She is seeing less and less patients.
Deiha reports her family is doing well so far.
Elaine Genzen is doing well and has been staying busy.
Cathy & Greg Beste -Continued prayers for Kristin & Dan Goldstein in transition with moving and new jobs on hold. For Josh Beste & Allie's for wedding June 21st-- very uncertain. Son Kyle & Family-- dog Beau (6-year-old Golden) just diagnosed with Lymphoma. Our daughter Kristin's house sold just before the shutdown. Now the market is dead.
Linda Towne’s continued back pain.
Bruce and Brenda Dornseif would like to include the family and friends of Obrie Smith. Obrie was their neighbor who unexpectedly passed away recently, and although he was a devout Christian man for whom we have the assurance that his soul now rests with our Lord in heaven, his sudden passing was a shock to his wife, sons, and friends.
