During this time of civil unrest and violence in our country, here are some prayers for our church family:
Colson Center for Christian Worldview prayer for June 1st:

“May God grant comfort to the family of George Floyd, peace to the city of Minneapolis, justice for the officers involved, safety to those affected by the related violence, and power to Christ’s Church, so that we would be the agents of peace and reconciliation, the people of Truth and Love, our world needs so desperately right now.”
With the death of George Floyd and subsequent civil unrest developing across our country the past week, it’s easy to lose trust and hope. While current events cause despair, we are reminded in Scripture that with You, nothing is impossible. Many are taking their anger to the streets. While we must condemn violent acts of response, we must also condemn their root cause. We pray that our voices can be heard, hear our prayers for justice, unity, equity, and peace. ⠀We pray for our Mayors, Governors, Police, First Responders, and all Elected Officials. We pray for the safety of those protesting, and for those seeking to protect and serve. We pray that our churches will rise up and lead in this time, and that this will bring about change from within. People are hurting, and only Jesus can save us!
We pray this in Jesus name,

ILC Leadership Team,

Jeff Dorth, Terry Nickerson, Dave Grandt

“to know and share the joy of salvation through Jesus Christ”
