Island Lutheran Church believes that Sunday School is an important aspect of a child’s faith development.  Sunday School is a place to get to know Jesus Christ, learn the Bible and build friendships. Our church believes that the way to eternal life is through our Lord Jesus Christ, and our goal is to bring the news of Jesus to children and their families.

Learning the Bible is an important phase of Sunday School.  We cover many of the major stories in the Bible through song, crafts, story telling and games.

Sunday School Hour begins at 9:50 AM and is held from September through May.

Children are always welcome and encouraged to attend worship services but a nursery is provided if you prefer.

Every June we host a five day Vacation Bible School for children ages 4-10. Each morning is filled with the day's lesson, games, songs, crafts, snacks and bible stories.  A great time is had by kids and adult volunteers.  The last day ends with a picnic for the kids and their families, followed by a big surprise at the end.  Watch for our registration news next May.
